Required Training Materials for PADI Courses

 

Reminder on the Training Bulletin 1st Quarter 2006 from PADI International.

 

"As announced in the Fourth Quarter 2005 Training Bulletin, effective 1 January 2006, PADI student divers and instructor candidates must have, in their possession, a personal set of current materials for study and use during the course and for reference afterward.

 

The list of required materials appears in the Fourth Quarter 2005 Training Bulletin, as well as in individual course instructor guides in the 2006 PADI Instructor Manual (specifically, PADI Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Adventure Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Divemaster and the PADI Instructor Development course).

 

PADI is committed to educational excellence through student use and retention of course materials. Enforcing this new requirement becomes part of the quality assurance monitoring process. Your student divers will receive PADI Course Evaluation Questionnaires that ask specific questions regarding the educational materials they used in their course.

 

For example, your Open Water Diver course students will be asked, “Did you have your own PADI Open Water Diver Manual and RDP for study and use during the course, and for reference after the course?” Consistent answers that indicate possible standards violations will be handled like any other quality management issue."

 

As each student must now own a manual for each PADI course, to get a better price we recommend to buy 10 or more pieces at a time of your materials, using our special offer mix and match of languages!

 

We also recommend buying PIC Envelopes 1:1 together with the training materials to get the best price!

Training and Services

 

PADI & DAN MEMBERSHIPS

 

We handle all payment procedures for your PADI yearly renewal, your applications (Divemaster, Specialty Instructor, etc.) or your DAN Professional insurance.

 

If you don't have your credit card ready available pass by the shop with your application and we will ensure the payment and forward the application to the appropriate office for processing.

 

We send your application to your PADI Office via email within the following 24 hours and call you as soon as we have the confirmation back from PADI. You still need to be patient to receive your certification card or your renewal sticker as they still come to your address, or our P.O. Box (more info below about that service), by regular mail.

 

 

DAN MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT
